Waze X Steel Ball Run
A Navigators Journey
A Navigators Journey is an experiential advertising concept for Waze. Designed as maze that pops up along the same route used in JoJos Bizzare Adventure: Steel Ball Run, A Navigators Journey challenges players to naviagte a maze with the help of other players. By participating in the maze players will learn about the functions and benefits of using Waze while also having a great time.
The Concept.
A Navigators Journey is an interactive maze experience based off of Jojo's Bizzare Adventure: Steel Ball Run.
Participants will enter the maze in order to find a "Stand Arrow" (an important item from Jojo's Bizzare Adventure), while avoiding enemies. The first team to find the arrow and escape will win special avatars for the Waze app.
Inside The Maze.
The inside of the maze will have LED paneled walls depicting scenery from Steel Ball Run. When a player runs into an enemy, the LEDs will show the enemy and the players phone will notify them of their elimination.
Outside The Maze.
Outside of the maze other players will utilize machines that allow for them to warn the players inside of the maze about hazards. There will also be non team affiliated screens showing the progress of everyone inside of the maze.
